And our government has gotten us into a total mess and do not listen to the people like they are required to do and like to try to play god and they cannot even do their own job correctly or keep their finances in order without taxing you more to pay for their toys. This is who you want to tell YOU how to do things. I can tell you that most of the people in these positions are only as smart on anything as what they were taught and do not listen to anyone else. There are other methods that are as effective as chemo and cause less pain and body damage. One place will tell you you only have a couple months to live and another place saves your life cause they do something different and the people live for decades. So you are a communist if you believe what you say. And I wish you would have to go through what I have gone through with my back (I am fused in 7 levels of my spine) and have had doctors tell me that the pain I was felling was in NO Way caused from some of the hardware that was put in as a part of one of the fusions. Well that pain was not there until they put in the rods and left when they took the rods out. So you are telling everyone that the 1st person that they see in an important decision knows better than anyone else. How often are we told to get more than one opinion and thusly way to handle what you are going through. So you are communist in your thinking if you take that freedom that our constitution guarantees us.

First of all Government is NOT allowed to be oppressive by the constitution. 2nd the family has the RIGHT to choose the treatment method. I live within 20 miles of where this is happening and the family is treating their son and they have not ruled out chemo but want to give something else a chance.

Government DOES NOT have the right to MAKE you take a treatment. We do not yet live in a police state but those that want to allow government and the judicial system illegally take our rights away deserve what they get, a prison state with no real rights. Farra Fawcett was not forced to take Chemo nor are other adults and adults ALONG WITH the child are trying to treat this the way they want and to give something else a try. How many people have been given a few months to live by their doctor and go to the right place and are alive decades later because of treatments that most hospitals do not have. This is a rural area hours away from any major city.

Those who say that the family does not have the right to seek the treatment that they want should just go to communist Russia during the cold war cause that is what they are saying they want the USA to be. Plus I have met few kids this age that if they wanted to do something would not just go and do it even if mom and dad did not want them to. This kid has had several chances to change what treatment he is getting. These doctors and judges should be thrown in jail for the mental and physical torture they have forced on this family and this kid. If this was a dog being treated this way those people would be thrown into jail and fined.

And you are assuming that all that they are doing in just prayer and they are doing a treatment method that a doctor who is trying to play god does not agree with. He does not have the right to tell anyone that their treatment method that they are using is wrong. They are doing more than prayer and have experts in alternative methods that they are using.
